Gallo Dairyland is a recognised family-owned business for generations in the Atherton Tablelands. Traditional European cheese-making techniques are combined with the highest quality, freshest milk and ingredients to make a range of award-winning cheeses that are famous all over the Far North Queensland region.
The Hidden Sea Wines
The Hidden Sea caters for socially conscious consumers who love good wine. The Hidden Sea removes and recycles 10 plastic bottles from oceans and rivers for every bottle of wine sold. Ancient, mineralised relics lay buried beneath the World Heritage site their vineyard stands upon, one of which is the fossilised remains of an ancient whale which contributes to the rich, fertile soil and also provides a natural and unique filtration system - perfect for growing grapes that produce award-winning wines.
White Whale Coffee Roasters
The name ‘White Whale’ is a nod to Migaloo (meaning ‘white-fella’ in the Badjala language of the Butchulla people), a famed albino whale that travels past Cairns on its annual migration. ‘White Whale’ is also an important reminder to be conscious of our impact on our oceans and our natural environment – an ethos that is interwoven into the foundation of the business; to roast and serve the very best coffee in Cairns, and to make a positive difference to people, communities, and our environment.
